Knowing that the end of the school year is
rapidly approaching, the children are anxiously
waiting for summer.
 The
children in grades 4,5,6 were treated to an
assembly featuring John Flanagan, the author of
The Ranger Apprentice Series. At the end of the
activities, Mr. Flanagan signed the children’s
books. In addition, children from St. Clare’s
and St. Lucy’s were our guests. This day was
sponsored by Barnes & Noble and co-ordinated by
Mrs. Ziesel.
In
the beginning of June, New Beginnings, Pre-K and
Kindergarten will graduate. On Friday, June
18th, the eighth grade will graduate at 5:00
p.m. from the church. The Mass will be
celebrated by Fr. Matthew and the commencement
ceremony immediately following. We wish our
graduates success as they prepare for High
School.
At
the end of the month, we look forward to the
parish feast on June 25, 26, 27. Specific
details can be found in the parish bulletin.
Welcome
back letters will be posted on the website on
August 25th. Have a wonderful summer. Be safe
and have fun. Remember St. Francis Xavier is “A
School You Can Believe In”.
